Every time Jesus uses the word ‘cross’ it is always about ‘us’ carrying our cross and following Him!
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, they must deny themself, take up their cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24
Are you a cross carrying follower of Jesus?
How is your walk with your cross?
What does it mean to carry your cross?
Do you still desire to follow Jesus and carry your cross?
Are you willing to go ‘all’ the way?
“And calling the crowd to Him with His disciples, He (Jesus) said to them, “If anyone would come after Me, let them deny themself and take up their cross and follow Me.” Mark 8:34
“Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” Mark 10:21
“Then He said to all of them, “If anyone wants to come with Me, they must deny themself, take up their cross daily and follow Me.” Luke 9:23
Jesus said, “And whoever does not take their cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it and whoever loses their life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 10:38-39
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
“That I may know Him (Christ) and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” Philippians 3:10
Put your faith and trust in Jesus and what He did in dying for your sins on the cross and shedding His Blood so we could be saved. Repent now and turn to follow Jesus. Confess Jesus as your Savior and share Him with others. Now pick up your cross and start following Jesus. “The way of the cross leads home.” In Jesus Name. Amen. God bless you.
