Living in Victory

“People ought always to pray and not to faint, for you are of God little children, and have overcome them because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation for there is no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it. For it is God which works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure.

This I say, walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. They that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affection and lusts.

But my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Therefore, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Have no anxiety over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made to God. Be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves, to one another, in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God.

The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report; if there be any virtue, and any praise, think on these things. For I have learned in whatsoever state I am, to be content.

Finally, my brethren, rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in everything give thinks, preach the word, abstain from all appearance of evil, quench not the Spirit, establish your heart, for the coming of the Lord draws near.”
