“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
I think I could speak of the Beauty of God and His love for all my life and for eternity without end and still never even touch the fullness of how Beautiful God is. Of course the angels have praised Him for all eternity and will do for forever more. Glory.
I thought of choosing scriptures from the Bible to try to describe the Beauty of God but realized I would have to put in every scripture from Genesis to Revelation. But I did pick a few in the New Testament from the Words of Jesus about the way He loves us.
Do I try to describe how beautiful the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are to me? I think I will just let the following scriptures speak.
Oh I love the Lord God Almighty, the Lord of Hosts is His Name!
I would love for you to just slowly read these Words of Jesus and let the Beauty of the Presence of Jesus bless you and fill you now and forever.
John 10:1-15
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
“But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. “To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
“And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him for they know his voice.
“Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him,
for they do not know the voice of strangers.”
Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
“All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
“But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.
“The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.
“I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.
“As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father;
and I lay down My life for the sheep.
John 10:27-30
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
“My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all;
and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
“I and My Father are one.”
John 14:1-9
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself;
that where I am, there you may be also.
“And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going,
and how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
John 15:9-17
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
“You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain,
that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
“These things I command you, that you love one another.
John 17:1-26
Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,
“as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God,
and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
“I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.
“And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself,
with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.
“Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.
“For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.
“I pray for them. I do not pray for the world
but for those whom You have given Me they are Yours.
“And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.
“Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
“But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world,
that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.
“I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world,
but that You should keep them from the evil one.
“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
“As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
“And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
“that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
“And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
“I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
“O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You;
and these have known that You sent Me.
“And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
Matt 6:25-34
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on.
Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow:
they neither toil nor spin;
“and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
“Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or
‘What shall we wear?’
“For after all these things the Gentiles seek.
For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Now live a beautiful life and be filled with the Beauty of the Lord.
