The Fruit of the Spirit! “Kindness” (Part 6)

‘The fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control.’
(Galatians 5:22-23 in the Holy Bible)

There are few things in a person more profound and refreshing than kindness. Whatever you may get in life should you miss kindness you have lost a treasure or have never known one of the greatest blessings God can give.

Have you ever met a kind person? No matter how difficult the problem or how rude they are treated; yet they remain kind. There is a smile of kindness on their face, always!

Kindness disarms the enemy. Kindness is a powerful weapon of spiritual warfare.

God is kind.

“That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.’
(Ephesians 2:7 in the Holy Bible)

“For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!’
(Psalms 117:2 in the Holy Bible)

We are to be kind.

“Be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.’
(Ephesians 4:32 in the Holy Bible)

What is Kindness?

Am I kind?

How can I start being kind?

Where should I start?

When should I start being kind?

I may need to ask some people to forgive me for being unkind.

I will not make this a long column. I will leave it short for a purpose. To give you time to just think and look at your life and see how needful this fruit of the Spirit really is in you.

Sometimes short can be powerful. I trust the above will have that effect.

“Oh Lord Jesus give kindness. Work in me Holy Spirit to make me a kind person. Glorify Thyself Lord God in me that I may be kind and reflect Your Glory.’
