Sharing Jesus with People of other Religions

“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and people, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all.” 1 Timothy 2:5-6

In almost all religions people are trying to make contact with God through some self effort. The followers of Jesus have a totally different concept. The Bible teaches that it is God that first loved us and it is Him that reaches out to us!

It is not the effort of a person that gains acceptance but it is the effort of God Himself. He sent Jesus to this earth to live without sin and die on the cross for our sins. God loves us and provided salvation through the Blood of Jesus and now we only need to repent and receive Him as our Savior and Lord.

Never put down or make fun of other religions. Remember they have problems with understanding ‘drinking the Blood of Jesus and eating His Flesh, etc.

Moslem: Believe in a personal God (Matthew 5:8)

Jewish: Believe in a personal God (Acts 2:36-38)

Hindu: Believe in many Gods. They believe in reincarnation. (Hebrews 9:27)

Buddhist: Believe God is a concept not a being or personal. (Acts 17:22-25)

Jehovah Witness and Mormons: Errors on the Deity and Person of Jesus among other things. They have changed the Bible scriptures. (Revelation 22:18-19)

New Age: Just grooving and trying to feel good about everything no matter what you are into. As they say in California ‘different strokes for different folks’. (Matthew 7:13)

Christian: Not every Christian ‘knows’ Jesus as Savior and Lord. We are not born Christians or made Christians except by receiving Jesus.. (John 1:12-13)

The Reason we need Jesus and the Cross!

God made us? God wants to communicate with us like a good parent? God can communicate with us. How does He speak to us and let us know of Himself?

In the Garden of Eden after the sin of Adam and Eve God killed an animal to make a garment for them. A life was given, blood shed and a covering was made.

The Bible teaches that the life is in the blood.

‘For the life of all flesh is its blood.’ Leviticus 17:13-14;Deuteronomy 12:23

“Without the shedding of Blood there is no remission (of Sin)!’ Hebrews 9:22

Abraham was ready to offer Isaac on the alter but God provided a blood sacrifice instead.

Moses had the children of Israel put blood on the doorpost.

In the Temple on the Altar in the Holy of Holies the blood of a lamb was sprinkled.

Now see Jesus: The Perfect Sacrifice for Sin!!!

He was born without sin. The Holy Spirit put the seed of Jesus in His Mother’s womb.

Jesus Life Given, His Blood was Shed, A covering was made!

Jesus said, “For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matthew 26:28

“Jesus Christ’¦ “To Him who loved us and washed (loosed) us from our sins in His own blood.” Revelation 1:5

That’s what soap does with dirt and stains. It loosens the dirt from the cloth so that the water washes it away. Jesus loosens us from sin and washes it away in His Blood! .
