Jesus (His Eyes)

“Jesus wept.’ “Now as He (Jesus) drew near, He saw the city and wept over it’. John 11:35; Luke 19:41

Oh, the eyes of Jesus! Those same eyes who had seen all the Glory of Heaven and who in Him is all the Fullness of the Godhead Body (Colossians 2:9). How could He bare to see the sins and evil of this world? Yet Jesus came in the Flesh and had eyes like you and I to see all that was before Him.

Jesus saw the needs of the people and ministered to them. He saw the sick and healed. He saw the hungry and fed them. Jesus saw the sinner and forgave. Jesus saw the dead and raised them to life. Yes, Jesus saw and He cared and loved! Oh, praise His Holy Name.

Jesus also saw the heart of every person and knew every need within.

And yes, this ‘Same Jesus’ is alive today and can meet your every need. Oh, I love you Jesus.

Jesus saw the cross and yet went forward to Calvary. Jesus hung on the cross shedding His Holy Blood for our sins. He then closed His eyes in death.

Yet! Glory!

The eyes of Jesus were opened and we see Jesus in the Flesh alive and living after three days in the tomb.

This living Jesus ascended into heaven and sees my need and yours today.

What would it have been like to look into the eyes of Jesus? What would you have seen?

Surely in the eyes of Jesus you would have seen love, mercy and compassion. Come to Jesus now.

Lord Jesus we worship you, thank you for your eyes that even wept for us.
