The Love of God

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

The love of God is matchless and stunning and glorious and beyond any words to express. This love can fill your heart.
Do not let past hurts and injustices, etc rob you of love. For should you have whatever in this world you want but miss love you have missed ‘Life’. Let the love of Jesus fill you as you read the following scriptures. Just welcome the Presence of Jesus and He will remove the past and fill you with overflowing love. It is heartbreaking to watch TV or read the news and see people crying out with bitterness for the actions of others and wanting ‘justice’ and ‘vengeance’ and holding on to past hurts and declaring that they will never forgive the person or persons. This is one of the great problems in the world today with the affairs of nations; people bitter and unforgiving and crying for revenge. Without forgiveness and love the evil will never stop but just pass on from one generation to the next. Just look at Jerusalem and the Bible lands. Look at America and Africa and Asia and South America’¦Look at religion from Christianity to Islam to the Jews to the Buddhist and… the atheist!
Now look at Jesus and look to the cross and hear the Words of Jesus’¦

“Father forgive them for they know not what they do’.

I John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Matthew 5:43-46 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, “that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. “For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Matthew 19:19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'”

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul,
and with all your mind.’ “This is the first and great commandment. “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ “On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Mark 12:30-31 ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Luke 6:27 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

Luke 6:32 “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

Luke 6:35-36 “But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

“Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Luke 11:42

“But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.

“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

“If God were your Father, you would love Me,

for I proceeded forth and came from God;

nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.

John 11:3

Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.”

John 13:34-35

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another;

as I have loved you,

that you also love one another.

“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.

John 14:21-24

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.

And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father,

and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him,

“Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

“He who does not love Me does not keep My words;

and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

John 14:31

“But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

John 15:10-19

“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love,

just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

“You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain,

that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

“These things I command you, that you love one another.

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.

“If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

John 17:26

“And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it,

that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

John 21:15-17
So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,
“Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”
Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time,
“Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him,
“Feed My sheep.

Welcome Jesus in my heart and fill me with your love. In Jesus Name. Amen
