Jesus (Did He Mean it! ‘Working With You’)

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

“they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them,

He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

And they went out and preached everywhere,

The Lord working with them

and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

Mark 16:17-20

Glory to God, did you know that as a follower of Jesus when you live and minister in His Name, Jesus is working with you.

You are not alone in serving God. Jesus is Present with you.

Read that scripture again. AFTER Jesus was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God as the followers of Jesus went into the world preaching Jesus, Jesus was working with them!

The Heritage Bibles uses the words “the Lord working as partner’

Hebrews 3:14 “Because we are made partners of Christ’

There are many references in the New Testament to this truth but for many people we feel we are on our own and Jesus is only an observer of our actions, not an active agent in our lives, feelings, emotions and body.

This truth will empower you to live in victory and face whatever life throws at you knowing that in you is Jesus. The same Jesus that was, is and is to come.

So be empowered and free!

Matthew 18:20

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name,

I am there in the midst of them.”

The word ‘midst’ means ‘Middle’.

So between you and anyone else or anything else Jesus is in the middle!

Wow, how wonderful. Whatever comes at you must past Jesus to get to you and even then He is with and in you working His life in you.

I ask you, did Jesus really mean it’¦

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

“they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

There are some that say this was only for the first generation of witnesses of Jesus and that it does not apply for us today.

My reply would be what scripture do you use to say that the signs ended after the first generation and do not operate today? As a matter of fact these words of Jesus are as binding as the ‘Great Commission’ it’s self.

I remember as a young Baptist preacher using the saying “The Bible say’s it, I believe it, that settles it.’ Well, I really, really, really mean it know and understand.

So I ask, are you seeing such in your life. If not ‘Why’?

What more do I need to say. Please read this again and then rejoice with Jesus and go forth to proclaim Jesus in your world knowing He is working and partnering with you.
