Jesus (The Reason)

“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
(Luke 19:10 in the Holy Bible)

Oh, the beauty, glory and purpose contained in these words of Jesus! Beyond any shadow of a doubt Jesus makes clear His mission on earth. Jesus came to ‘seek and to save’ that which was lost.

You will remember that Jesus went from village to village and city to city preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. Jesus talked with person after person and explained how they could be saved and follow Him.

Jesus having died on the cross for our sins and then was resurrected He commissioned His followers to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every person.

Our mission as followers of Jesus is to follow the example of our Lord and Master and seek the lost and share with them the message of salvation! Glory.

God so loved the world that Jesus came to earth to save the lost. We are to be so full of the love of God that we too will give our lives to help others to know Jesus and the love of the Father. The Holy Spirit will empower us to be that kind of witness.

What was lost? Satan has ravaged the world but Jesus came to save men and women and give them eternal life.

You and I as followers of Jesus have a glorious and thrilling mission’¦to introduce people to Jesus so that they can come to know Him and become His followers.

Don’t let anyone intimidate you from sharing about Jesus. Don’t let fear quench your spirit. Let the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit fill you so that you may be a living witness for Jesus to others.

Let us rise up in boldness and lift up Jesus for all the world to see.

I am praying for laborers to go forth into the fields of the world that are ripe for harvest.

Go! Jesus is with you.

Keep up the witness.
