Intimacy with God and Witness to others!

I ask myself and you to consider these two points. Intimacy with God and Witness to others. God desires a close fellowship and intimacy with His human creation (you and me).

God said to Moses, “I will go with you and give you rest.” Paul said, “That I may ‘know’ Him.” Jesus said, “I will be with you always.”

God walked and talked with Adam and Eve before they ever sinned. He desired and liked their company. He still desires this from and with us. We see this in the first chapter of Genesis and in the closing chapter of Revelation.

We see this in the “Marriage supper of the Lamb” with the redeemed throughout the ages and tells of the New Heaven and New Earth and how that fellowship with God is restored completely as we will be forever with Him.

As saved followers of Jesus we do not have to wait until death or the coming of Jesus in that glorious end time. You can have intimacy with God NOW! Right now you can have what Jesus promised…’the Comforter’ (the Holy Spirit) The Holy Spirit indwells us and empowers us!

Jesus said “My sheep hear My Voice!!!

Set your passion on living and walking with Jesus!

As you have this Holy and Glorious relationship then you have a heart filled with the love of God. A love for the lost! A God-given passion to share Jesus.

Should you truly love God with all your heart, soul, mind, spirit and strength you will love what God loves! Jesus said “I have come to seek and to save those who are lost”. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” For the joy that was set before Him Jesus endured the cross and died on the cross as our redeemer. He paid the price for our sins to be washed away by His Holy Blood. Jesus arose and lives! He commanded us to be filled with Holy Spirit power to witness to others.

There are many good acts we can do for others like; feed the poor, give water to the thirsty, homes for the homeless and hospitals for the sick, etc. But should one be a true follower of Jesus we care for the complete person and their soul and where they will spend eternity. How can one say we love others and never share the Gospel message of the cross and Jesus and tell them how to be saved? Jesus said, “What shall it profit a person should they gain the whole world yet lose their own soul?”

We are called by Jesus to go into all the world and preach… share the Gospel (the good news of Jesus and the cross) with every person! Every saved person is called to witness Jesus to others.

You and I are to be witnesses everywhere we go. Remember this “How shall they hear without a preacher and how shall they call upon Him whom they have not heard?”

Pray for Jesus to send ‘you’ into the harvest fields that are ripe for harvest. The Holy Scriptures say that eternal, everlasting hell is the place where Satan, the Devil will be cast along with everyone whose name is ‘not’ written in the Book of Life following the Day of the Lord, the Great Judgment.

Oh, how can a saved person who has been born into the Kingdom of God through the gift of faith, by the grace of Jesus and who has received new life in Jesus not care for other people enough to share the glorious news of Salvation with others. God have mercy on those of us that call ourselves Christians but stay silent and not love people enough to step out of our comfort zone and give our lives to heralding Jesus to all the world. Jesus said “Should you love me… you will keep my commandments.

The Call, the Call of Jesus. Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Me!!! Go into the highways and hedges, the streets and the lanes and seek out the hurting of heart in all the world. There is room at God’s table for whosoever will come!

The world in need and the people blind and lost is where you will find the true joy, blessings, peace and praise.

Paul said when Jesus called him to believe and follow Him that he was to be His witness. Paul said, “I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision!”

Have you and I been obedient to Jesus in sharing the message of the cross and salvation with others? Should we have been disobedient; ‘Repent’! Welcome the Fire of the Holy Spirit to lead you to the world in the Power of God. One thing you can know for sure is that there is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner that repents! Please read the 18th chapter of Luke.

Jesus called Peter as one of His disciples with these words, “Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men.” Start fishing and don’t stop!

Lift up Jesus in word and deed. Jesus will draw people into the harvest. Sow the Word of the Gospel seed everywhere! The Seed is the Word of God.

I ask myself and you to consider these two points. Intimacy with God and Witness to others.

“Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God have mercy on us. We repent in tears and  invite You to open our hearts and mouths with the message of Jesus from this day forward.

You may start just now where you are and go forth having answered the call of Jesus for your life.

“It is not by might or power but by the Spirit of the Lord that we go and live and obey the mission of our lives.
