Holy Week with Jesus

Having spent 50 years carrying the cross. There are no words that can express what this week means to me. Emotions flood me. Tears wash my face and I seek to comprehend the suffering of Jesus. At the same time there is a smile and joy at the victory Jesus won over sin, death and hell.
I’ve walked over 84.5 million steps with the cross around the world. I have stood talking to countless people as they gathered around the cross. People of all religions, colors, ages and nations. Through wars and jungles…along roads and city streets. During these long years the 12 foot cross has almost always been near me. Eating or sleeping or traveling the cross is near. The weight of the cross has shaped my body but the weight of carrying the cross and the message of Jesus has also shaped my life. I pray that I am becoming more like Jesus in word, thought and deed. As a saved sinner, I say, ‘Thank you Jesus’ All Glory to God.
My life has been centered around the cross and the events leading up to the cross; what happened with Jesus and the cross; and the events following.
The mission Jesus had for my life in sharing the message of the cross and salvation in Jesus alone is impossible for me to explain.
I have known the call of Jesus and the mission of Jesus for my life but I have never had the freedom to speak about it. That is a Holy place with me and Jesus.
So I will just say. Please take your Bibles and read the four accounts of this week of events in the life of Jesus as found in Matthew, Mark Luke and John. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what is recorded and may your life never be the same again.
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.”
Matthew 16:24
Share Jesus and the true meaning of the cross
with someone this week.

Jesus Arose! Jesus is Alive! Rejoice.
