“When” When pain seems to have no end,
When heartache is so great you can hardly breathe,
When every dream seems shattered,
When hope is gone and hopelessness is overwhelming,
When your seeming failures are drowning you,
When sin seems to win,
When love is beyond your reach,
When joy is hard to remember,
When peace is lost,
When the sun seems never to rise,
When nights are like months,
When rest is a forgotten emotion,
When you are anxious about everything,
When worry is constant,
When tears flow like rivers of water,
When you speak and no one hears,
When you dance alone in silence,
When the only hand to hold is your own.
When you have lost all,
When you are your own best friend,
When alone is not enough,
When beauty is gone and strength fails you,
When giving up seems like an option,
When sickness fills your body,
When life seems to have lost its meaning,
When you can no longer dream,
“Fall into the Arms of Jesus!!!”
A poem by Arthur Blessitt© www.blessitt.com
One of my life lessons from carrying the wooden cross around the world in every nation and major island group is; should I stumble on the roadside, don’t fall into the traffic, or face down but fall ‘away’ from the traffic…
“Fall into the caring and mighty Arms of Jesus!”
“Fall into the love of the Father!”
“Fall into the comfort of the Holy Spirit!”
“Fall into the Presence of God!”
This poem was very emotional for me to write as my mind was filled with the faces, stories and struggles which the people I’ve been blessed to meet on the roads of the world have shared with me.
“Fall into the comfort of the Holy Spirit!”
“Fall into the Presence of God!”

Jesus: “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:25-34
Jesus: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus: “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water. Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:10,13-14.
To Jesus: “Lord, save us!” Matthew 8:25
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10
