Zechariah 2:12
“And the LORD will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
Psalms 78:54
Thus he brought them to the border of his holy land,
to the hill country his right hand had taken.
Ezekiel 48:14
They must not sell or exchange any of it. This is the best of the land and must not pass into other hands, because it is holy to the LORD.
Joel 2:1
Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill.
Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming.
The Bible refers to the area where much of the Bible centers or that was given to Israel as the Holy Land. It was considered holy because God was there and it represented His Holy Presence in the Temple.
I am speaking at the HolyLand Experience in Orlando, Florida. This is a recreation of some of the most important places in the Holy Land. It is very profound and worthy of a visit. I often speak there.
My intention is not to do a Bible teaching on the original Holy Land but to let you know that you can experience the Holy Land today, here in Orlando or anyplace in the world.
1 Corinthians 10:26
For “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.”
Psalms 24:1
The earth is the LORD’S, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.
The Temple no longer stands in Jerusalem. The Temple is now in the hearts of every believer and follower of Jesus. Every step we take we are walking on Holy Ground. Because the Temple of God is now within. Everywhere we go is holy! Glory.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him.
For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
Colossians 1:21-22
And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works,
yet now He has reconciled
in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless,
and above reproach in His sight–
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,
whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify
God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Jesus said Matthew 28:20
I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
Wherever you go Jesus goes! Like the Children of Israel moved in the desert as the Tabernacle moved so the indwelling Tabernacle and Temple of God is within us as we move with Jesus in life.
Another time Jesus told us this:
Matthew 18:19-20
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask,
it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
So Jesus goes with me ‘and’ whenever two or three gather in His Name…He is in the middle or in between then! Wow, As we gather in Jesus Name He is with us. Right here just as He was along the seaside or in Jerusalem or in the hills of Judea.
So as we gather here in His Name…Jesus is Here! Then as you go from here…Jesus goes with you.
Now what kind of Jesus is this today?
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The same Jesus that always has been and was, will be!
Jesus today is the ‘Same’ as the Jesus in the Bible Land!
Jesus has the same power to save and help, deliver and heal as He had two thousand years ago.
This is no watered down version of the real Jesus.
Jesus has the same power today that He had then and will have in the future.
So people think Jesus had great power on earth two thousand years ago and will have all power when He comes again but now we have a watered down version of Jesus in our lives, in the church and in the world today. Not So! We have the ‘Same Jesus’ today.
Acts 1:8
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
You can have this Holy Spirit power Now!
Matthew 28:18
Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go…”
You can have the Power of Jesus in your life now and in Him it is All Power! Not a little power or a weak supply but All Power! Glory
The following is a brief look at how the new Tabernacle and Temple is now yours and mine by the shed blood of Jesus on the cross. Please read it carefully.
Hebrews 9:11-15
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come,
with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands,
that is, not of this creation.
Not with the blood of goats and calves,
but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all,
having obtained eternal redemption.
For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean,
sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,
how much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God,
cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death,
for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant,
that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
So what is your response? Will you let your heart become the Holy Land, the place where the Presence of God is? I encourage you to welcome the Presence and Person of Jesus into your life.
As you know Him you can know the Father.
John 14:9
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?
He who has seen Me has seen the Father;
so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Welcome Jesus into your life and as you repent and believe Jesus will give you a new birth and a new life.
Welcome Jesus into your heart, mind, body, soul and spirit and ask that in His Presence your body be healed and made whole.
God bless you and you go and follow Jesus.
Oh, I might add that the idea so common in the religion of some of the churches of Jesus ‘showing up’. It is not true. Jesus is in the heart and life of his children all the time. It gets good applause when the song is sung about God ‘He may not show up when you want Him but He always shows up on time.’ This is not a New Testament concept. Should there have been any followers of Jesus there Jesus was already present. The way Jesus may manifest Himself may be in many different ways. The teaching of the New Covenant is that Jesus comes to indwell and live in the heart and lives of His Children, those that are saved and know Him…always. It is a constant Presence. Not some emotional feeling of Jesus and God coming and going depending on our feelings or the place we are in. This new Temple is within and Jesus has come to be with you always no matter what is happening or what you are going through or how you are feeling…God is in His Temple inside you ruling and reigning!
So change your language and start living in the Holy Land of the Kingdom of God within you and within our world today! Glory!
