Madrid, 'The Plaza Mayor': A cobblestone square surrounded by old, magnificent buildings, lies in the heart of Madrid. This place sent chills of fear throughout all Spain in the Fifteenth Century.

When my wife, Denise and I arrived at the airport in Seoul we rented a car and drove to Iri. There we started the cross walk. Denise would drive up the road a few miles and park and wait for me to arrive.

After several days at sea from the Falkland Islands we arrived at this majestic place. We sailed past huge icebergs into St. Andrews Bay.

When I carried the cross in South Africa Ciskei, Kwazulu, Transkei, Bophuthatswana, Gazankulu and Venda were called 'independent homelands' .

We carried the cross in war-torn Somalia - Jesus did it! All glory to God! In 11 days from March 30th, Easter Sunday, until the night of April 9th, three times Denise and I were up without sleep and traveling for a day and a half!!

We arrived at the airport at Honiara on the island of Guadalcanal. I began the walk at the airport. The airport workers and taxi drivers and police all gathered around to see the cross.

This new country declared its independence from Yugoslavia a month ago. War clouds are heavy overhead.

We carried the cross in Bratislava, the capital of Slovak, and in nearby areas.

I had a powerful crosswalk in Singapore in January 1977. Not only was it powerful, it helped me learn many lessons.
