The walk with the cross in Denmark was a wonderful experience. It also became a very unusual walk for me as I had a big team of cross walkers with me.
My son, Joshua and I were invited to an YWAM (Youth with a Mission) ‘Go’ conference in the city of Randers. There were about six thousand young people at the meeting. We had a news conference with over 35 newspapers, 4 television stations and 4 radio stations from all over Europe.
In the meeting we saw the Glory of the Lord. Hundreds were crying and praying. The floor was wet with tears. It was as good as it can get. Just Glory, Glory, Glory!
We had a big cross-march into Randers.
Many of the young people wanted to go with Joshua and me to carry the cross to Copenhagen. We decided to limit it to about a dozen walkers, as I did not know how we could handle more.
We drove up to Alborg and started the walk with the cross there. We had our Land Rover with us. All the young people piled their bags on the Land Rover and off we went. Joshua or someone drove ahead and waited on the roadside for us to arrive.
We carried the cross south through Hobro, Herning to Odense. We then crossed over to the next island and on to Copenhagen. I baptized three of our walking team in the water! It was glorious.
We had a great walking team. It was the first and only time I have had such a group go walking the cross with me. We had fun, fellowship, music, singing, Bible study and witnessing. It was wonderful. Glory
