We flew in to the airport at Horne Island and took a ferry to Thursday Island.
My wife, Denise rented a bicycle and I carried the cross around the island. We had wonderful response. We talked and prayed with some of the local people.
I was very thrilled to carry the cross in this area where the local Aborigines run their own government.
