Madeira
I had a wonderful time carrying the cross on the beautiful Portuguese island of Madeira.
I started the cross walk in the northwestern town of Porto Moniz.
I then carried the cross to the capital city of Funchal.
It was a glorious time. I can never forget the cars racing up
and down the mountain highway. It was like a road race.
Many people stopped to talk and I witnessed in my poor
Spanish.
I prayed with many people and they welcomed the cross
on this Atlantic Ocean Island.
