Wow, what a wonderful time my wife, Denise and I had carrying the cross around much of this beautiful island in the far off south Indian Ocean.
We rented a car for Denise to drive up the road with food and water and wait for me to arrive walking with the cross.
The people on this French island were just so welcoming to the cross and us.
Many times when I passed a restaurant or groups of people at the beach they would clap and cheer and wave! They were almost all smiling.
We carried the cross south to St Pierre. The national newspaper did a great story and photo of the cross walk.
People everywhere were led to Jesus. From restaurant owners to truck drivers. People would drive by, then turn around and come back to talk. People were buying us food and meals. It was awesome.
By the grace and mercy of God I carried the cross over a hundred miles in this nation. What a blessed time we had and so many came to Jesus.
Pilgrim followers of Jesus,
Arthur and Denise Blessitt
