When we arrived at the airport, we rented a car for Denise, my wife to drive. She carries the supplies ahead in the car while I carry the cross.

We drove almost one hundred and fifty miles out into the countryside to begin the cross walk back to the capital city of Asuncion. Suddenly both of us felt we were driving in the wrong direction. We stopped and
prayed and felt Jesus tell us to go back and just carry the cross in
and around the city of Asuncion. We drove back. We only want to
carry the cross when and where God wants us.

We had several days of carrying the cross in the area of the capital.
We had good response and Jesus delivered Denise from a real
attack of the army of satan.

We planned to stay in one hotel but found a better deal at another hotel. We had all our bags so Denise planned to go to the hotel in a taxi and I would to carry the cross. This meant she would arrive at the hotel before me. When I arrived at the hotel Denise was not there. I waited and waited. Some people in the hotel said something about many tourists being kidnapped! I was praying and deeply concerned. Just before I called the police the taxi drove up with Denise in it!

The taxi driver had been driving for a long distance and Denise just thought it was a long way around because of traffic. When she realized that they were heading out
of the downtown and were near some old buildings. She prayed to God one-word ‘Help.’ The driver almost immediately stopped, hung his head and said, “I’m sorry.” He turned around and drove her to the hotel.

“Thank you Jesus, Denise is safe.” I wrote in my diary:

“Jesus preserved Denise! Oh, thank you Lord God Almighty Maker of Heaven for keeping my love safe and healthy and full of life and love. Oh I love you Jesus. Thank you Lord.”
