My Heart Attack and God Delights in You

One week ago today I was laying in an operating room on white sheets having a angiogram where a catheter is inserted into the femoral artery located in the groin and threaded up to the heart where they inject dye and watch the blood flow.

They discovered a 70% blockage of the main artery, the LAD and were doing more tests to decide upon the best action.

At some point I felt great pain in my chest and shoulders and arms and difficulty breathing. I said “Doctor, I feel pain in my chest and arms”. He said is it the same pain you have been feeling the last few days. I answered, “yes”. Then I can only remember voices.

The main artery to the heart, the LAD had ‘closed’ completely! All blood stopped and the cameras recording the blood flow showed white past one part in that main artery as there was no blood flow! The EKG shot up high on the chart. The team moved into emergency status. Unless the artery was opened I would be dead in a few minutes.

I was at death’s door.

However Jesus had everything ready to correct the problem. They immediately shot through nitroglycerin in the IV to expand the artery and the blood began to flow. The doctor put in a stent to hold the artery open. This is a permanent placement. The blood flow was now restored.

Thanks Dr. Fred Grover Jr. www.revolutionarymd.com for seeing one thing wrong and moving ahead at the moment to arrange for the heart specialist. Thanks Dr. Jeff Rubinstein for being so thorough and wanting me to have the test to find the problem for sure. Thanks to the helpful and kind care of all the staff at Rose Medical Center in Denver.

I was at the moment of death or rather at heavens door but Jesus extended my life to complete His mission in me. As He has before Jesus has got me through another almost impossible road block to walk another mile.

So often I hear the expression “Oh, I’m not worth anything.” Or “I don’t know how God could love me?”
I can tell you how much value you are to God…
Just take a look at the CROSS!
See Jesus!
Now you know what you were worth…
Jesus going to the cross and dying to save you and make you a place in heaven.

How much does God love you?
Take a look at the nail pierced Hands and Feet and Side of Jesus!
Yes, Jesus loves you.
See Him walking to Calvary carrying a large cross.

Now See JESUS!

Jesus said “The Son of Man came eating and drinking and drinking and they say ‘Look a glutton and a drinker of wine, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!”
Matthew 11:19

“Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Jesus to hear Him. The Pharisees and the scribes complained, saying “this man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
Luke 15:1-2

Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His Hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said “Let the little children come to Me. Do not forbid them for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.”
And He laid His Hands on them…
Matthew 19:13-15

Jesus said “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin and not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear. You are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:29-30

Jesus said “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:20

Jesus said “I am the good shepherd and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.
I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.
My sheep hear My voice and I know them and they follow Me.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My Hand.
My Father who has given them to Me is greater that all and on one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s Hand.
I and My Father are ONE!”
John 10:10,11,14,27-30

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”
John 3:16

Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you and I will come again and receive you to Myself that where I am there you may be also. Where I go you know and the way you know.”
Thomas said to Him “Lord we do not know where you are going and how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:1-6

Jesus said: “I no longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his Master is doing; but I have called you friends! For all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”
John 15:15

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His wife has made Herself ready.
To her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Then he said to me, write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!”
Revelation 19:7-9

“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
Then I John saw the holy city the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
I heard a loud voice from heaven saying “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
Then He who sat on the throne said ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me ‘write, for these words are true and faithful.’
And He said ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.”
Revelation 21:1-7

Luke 12:37

11Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
