I love my mother!

Today is Mother's Day. But for me everyday is Mother's Dad and Father's Day and Valentines Day, and all other type days. I had the best mother a person could have. I never saw here angry and never heard her raise her voice at me. She was Godly and loving and holy. I honor mothers and of course my wife is a mother and might I add she is a great mother to Sophia.

However I treat her to gifts and honor and love all year. For me it is difficult to get excited about days created by commercial promotions for the purpose of selling cards and gifts. Life in America seems to move from one hype to the next hype. It seems to love of money is at the heart of all such promotions and the sad thing is that the church seems to buy into all such hype.

However that is not the only problem. People  so are despreate to have some reason to celebrate that they fall for all type of promotions.

So I just smile and join in the celebrations. Should some people need such it's no probmem for me. I remember living in California and the saying, 'different strokes for different focks'! Ha

Now don't get angry at me. I took our daughter Sophia out today to shop for my wife and her mother. I do not want her to feel left out in giving to her mother.

We had a great time.

I will be teaching the Prayer and Evangelism at Heritage Christian Center at one pm here in Denver. www.heritagechristiancenter.com
