Thank you all for your prayers. God has changed my life beyond words in the past year. When I asked my dad to put me on this site for prayer I was in a terrible depression. I was at the lowest point in my life. I felt that there was no hope or peace for me on this earth. I even thought about taking my life. God was my only hope.

I started going to Celebration Church here in New Orleans, I would sit in the back and wish I had half the joy that I saw before me. I did not think Jesus loved me because of the way that I lived most of my life. I could not even sing the songs without crying.

Celebration Church is a cell church; they meet in small groups throughout the city during the week then on Sundays we come to celebrate God at the church. I started going to these small groups during the week just to get my mind off my problems if only for a little while. I went to a singles group and would just sit and listen as they talked about God and the struggles they were going through. The fog started to lift, all the things about the bible I thought I forgot started pouring back. I started talking and participating in the groups. The leaders of the group asked if I would intern to someday have a group of my own, they said when I spoke people listened. I was shocked.

On 3-20-03 I rededicated my life to God, just me and God out by the lake. It was a day I will never forget!

Now I am a cell leader and the section leader for community 9. I minister to the people in my group and the other leaders in my community. We all have struggles in our lives. We all need God to get us through. I am blessed to work for these single adults and try to keep them strong in God and show them that they to can have peace in their lives through Christ.

One thing that I truly needed from God was peace. I could not find it in the world no matter where I looked. The only way to find true peace and joy is to give God all your problems and mean it. He has given me a peace that I can't believe even in times of struggle. Surrender your life to God! All of it! Ask God to open doors and go through them. Then watch as God works through you. He has done so much for me in such a short time, I can't wait to see what's next!

Your prayers have kept me strong even when I feel weak. Your prayers have blessed my family. Your prayers have helped to change a life, mine!

Please pray for my brother Arthur J. as we deal with his illness and my whole family. Pray that God will guide my life as he sees fit and that I will follow.

Please pray that God will bring the wife he has for my life.

Don't worry about anything. Instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need. Thank him for all he has done. Should you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4. 6-7 in the Bible)
