I had faith that God would take care of all aspects of my life, and He did. There was one part of my life that I did not feel God was going to help me in no, matter how much I prayed for His help. It was in my personal life.
For some reason I had not put my faith in God for that part of my life. I did not think that God wanted me to find that special woman for my life. I would give it to Him, and then take it back over and over again. I just did not have the faith!
When we don't believe, it hinders our prayers to God. I had so much fear of being alone that the devil would use that to attack my faith. Satan will use any little cracks that we have to get us to lose focus on God and the ways that He is working in our lives. When those times come we must stop and look back to see the way that God has blessed us.
God does not always work in great big ways, sometimes it's so small we must always keep our eyes open. When we see God work in parts of our lives we will be able to give more of it till He has it all. That is FAITH!
How do we keep our faith? By knowing that we can't get through this life with real peace or joy without God being the focus of our lives. Obstacles we face and get through build our faith. It is very hard to give it all to God and leave it there, but to live for God and do His will we must!
I have given God my personal life this time for good. He will do
with it as he sees fit, and I will accept it. Sometimes what we
want and what God wants are not the same things, but
sometimes they are. Either way He will give me what is right in
my life.
Of that I have FAITH!
“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting,
for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by
the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything
from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.'
James 1:6-8 in the Holy Bible
Stay strong in God,
