A View From the Road

This is the first of what is to become God willing a weekly Internet column. This one is short but others will be much longer.

I am a simple pilgrim follower of Jesus walking the roads of the world with a 12 foot cross and sharing Jesus in every way possible for the Glory of God. You will be reading of my views and feelings. I will expose my heart and passion for God and for people.

The focus will be on Jesus!

Yet the application will be how we are to follow Jesus in this world today! As I have carried the cross in every nation I will draw from this world view mixed with the Word of God from His Holy Word, the Bible. This column will be unique and informative and inspiring and I trust provocative. I want to discuss things that will move you to search God's Word and search your heart and look at how to apply all this to living for Jesus.

We will journey together and I trust grow together to look and live more like Jesus.

As I write this first column let me record the words of David the first King of Israel as he prayed.

"Search me oh God and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts and see if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in your way everlasting!"
Psalm 139:23 (From the Holy Bible).

My Prayer: "Lord Jesus take out of me anything that does not look like You. Put in me everything that looks like You. I want to live in this world today as a living reflection of Jesus. Oh God be glorified in me and that I may show forth Your love and life. Fill me with the Holy Spirit in power and might. Help me to truly love others and share Jesus with a lost and dying world. In Jesus Name."
